Maintenance Operative

About the Role

To carry out maintenance tasks whilst providing accurate up to-date records for planned maintenance and checks under the direction of the Property and Facilities Team Manager. To ensure that Homeless Oxfordshire’s buildings, utilities, and equipment are properly preserved

Remuneration:         £23,000

Main responsibilities:

Support workers are responsible for the day-to-day running of O’Hanlon House. As a kind and compassionate individual you will be first point of contact for the people we support. Every day is different here but your duties will include; managing reception, keeping the building safe, supervising mealtimes, liaising with partner agencies, encouraging residents to access support and services, responding to safeguarding issues, and most importantly being a friendly face willing to listen to clients who have complex needs.

Night Support Worker

About the Role

This is an exciting time to join Homeless Oxfordshire. We have been through a period of change and are now recruiting individuals who will work in line with our values and contribute to creating excellence at O’Hanlon House and across the organisation.

We are recruiting a night support worker to join our O’Hanlon House team. Support workers are responsible for the day-to-day running of O’Hanlon House. As a kind and compassionate individual you will be first point of contact for the people we support. You will join a team that is dedicated and diligent; providing thoughtful and effective support and interventions to people with complex needs.

Casual Support Worker

Place of Work (O’Hanlon House) (Zero Hours)

Remuneration:    £10.31 per Hour

Reports to:          Team Leader

Responsible for:  Supporting clients residing in the hostel and with preparation to move on.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To perform with high standard and high quality Housing, Support and Resettlement standards.
  2. To ensure the Health & Safety and Safeguarding of clients and staff.
