Light up lives in Oxfordshire this Christmas

A warm bed. A hot meal. A wrapped present. These are things we think everyone should be able to enjoy this Christmas. But the holidays can be a dark and difficult time for people without a place to call home. Will you help us light up lives in Oxfordshire this winter?

Homelessness is on the rise across Oxfordshire. 1,170 individuals, couples and families became homeless last year, which is a 20% increase in just 12 months.

We are a charity that houses over 170 people at any one time across our projects in Banbury, Bicester, Abingdon, and Oxford. Some of our residents have complex needs and require 24/7 support. Others are getting ready to move on to independent living.

With your support this winter, we can continue providing safety and hope to some of the most vulnerable people in your community. Your generosity will light up lives and transform Oxfordshire into a place where everyone can access the support they need, all year round.

The persistent rise in homelessness rates across the county makes our job harder every year. But the wonderful thing is, you can do something to help.

Be the light in your community

Give the gift of a fresh start

The impact of a donation today will be felt long beyond the New Year. Your gift will provide people experiencing homelessness with shelter, trauma-informed care and unwavering support every day, all year round.

Donate to our Giftmas appeal

Help us give every one of our residents a wrapped present this year by donating new, unused items to our Giftmas appeal.

Wonderful volunteers, including students from Merton College and staff from Diligencia, will be helping us wrap every gift in time for the big day. Please contact our fundraising team to discuss the items you are interested in donating and they will be happy to advise.

Giftmas gift list:

  • Men’s toiletry gift sets (we already have plenty of women’s sets)
  • Boxes of chocolates
  • Festive treats for residents to enjoy together, such a tin of biscuits
