Christmas is a little different this year

We’re mid ‘lockdown 2.0’ and people are really struggling.

Having said that, we don’t want to go on about the difficulties of this year, we all know 2020 has been a beast! So, as a big thank you to our supporters this year and to make things a little brighter for people who might only have just found out about us, this Christmas we’re doing things a little differently!

What’s different?

We have created our ‘Hoxmas Christmas Kit’ that you can download absolutely FREE. It includes loads of fun resources that you can use to have your very own digital Christmas parties in your house, either for work or with your families or friends. Thankfully with technology, we can all have a little festive fun.

Following the success of last year’s Giftmas, we’re running this again this year too – just head to the webpage to find out the sort of items that make a really big difference to people who are homeless. We’ve also included a few fun activities for you to get involved with too!

With your help we can help build people up again and help them figure out the next step in their journey. It’s been a tough year but we’ve also seen a lot of human kindness. We don’t give up on people and neither do our supporters.

I can’t donate but I still want to help!

If you can donate to us, please do but if you can’t, you can help in other ways

  • Vote for us in Brand the Bus! (We’re at number 10 on the list), if we win we will see our branding splashed across Oxford Bus Company buses – it will really help us to raise our profile even more in Oxfordshire!
  • Share the link above on your profiles and ask your friends and family to vote for us too
  • Get involved in Hoxmas by signing the form on this page and download all of our fun festive features – all we ask if that you take a few photos of you doing your activities and tag us @HomelessOxfordshire into the post and include the hashtag #Hoxmas2020

It’s certainly going to be a different kind of Christmas this year, but we will get through this together.

With love, positivity and best wishes.

All of us at Homeless Oxfordshire.
