#GivingTuesday 2020

Did you know?

With most in-person fundraising events cancelled UK charities face a £10bn funding gap?

That’s why we are getting involved with campaigns such as #GivingTuesday. But what is it?

Giving Tuesday

Basically, it is a ‘global day of giving’, and you can do absolutely anything to give something back to a charity that’s close to your heart. This year it will take place on 1st December, following the frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

You can do absolutely anything you like, just please tag us @HomelessOxfordshire and @GivingTuesday and we might all get a re-share and have our messages seen by many, many people!

Here’s a suggested post that you can use on your social media:

I’m taking part in #GivingTuesday to #GiveBack2020  to support @HomelessOxfordshire this @givingtuesdayuk

If you’re stuck for ideas, why not:

  • Download out Hoxmas Christmas Kit and let us know about it?
  • Working from home? Give us the cost of your commute for a day and tag us!
  • Download our fab Cocktails /Mocktail recipes and donate the cost of what you’d usually pay in a bar! (Oxford prices especially welcome…)

So, get involved! Do something fantastic and #GiveBack2020.

We might be in #lockdown2.0 but there’s still a lot of positivity in the world.
