We need your help to keep providing frontline support to homeless people during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond

Providing continued support during the crisis

Since the start of the COVID-19 crisis, Homeless Oxfordshire has had to adapt and redesign how we provide our essential lifesaving frontline service to support some of the most vulnerable people in our communities during this national crisis.

We are continuing to help people recover from homelessness 1 step at a time. Every night we provide 200 people with a safe place to sleep, people who would otherwise be sleeping on the streets. The focus of our service for the foreseeable future is on the complexities of running a 56 bed hostel and 22 properties in the local community, but we can't do it alone...

Helping the vulnerable

The majority of people using our services have suffered severe trauma in their lives which impacts on mental health and substance misuse as they are in a constant state of chaos or crisis. During this COVID-19 crisis these challenges are magnified and people need extra support to be able to cope.

" Without you what would we do?

No one else wants us, only you. You give us hope.”

We need your help

We really need your help to continue to provide accommodation and support to vulnerable people.

Just £25 would enable us in this time of crisis to carry on providing stable, positive & safe accommodation, individual support, exercise, self-belief and calm emotions. To help with practical support including tinned food, shower gel, loo roll, sanitiser, cleaning items for a clean room/home environment, a mobile phone to keep in contact and activities to fill the time.

It’s not just one thing that helps someone recover from homelessness it is a range of things…never has this been as true as it is now.

Resilience is about getting through pain and disappointment without letting it crush your spirit. Our clients have suffered extreme trauma and moments of severe crisis. With your help we can provide hope and support.
